FLORA SASSO – a jewelry-driven evolution inspired by vintage design codes
Following the successful introduction of the FLORA line last year, AIGNER unveils FLORA SASSO, an evolution aligned with a key direction in women’s watch design: the renewed appeal of jewelry-inspired timepieces, reinterpre ted for contemporary style.
First presented at INHORGENTA 2025, FLORA established itself as a recognisable design within AIGNER’s women’s watch offering, defined by its refined proportions, signature case and bracelet-like construction inspired by feminine jewelry watches. Building on this established design language, FLORA SASSO introduces a more expressive interpretation. While the silhouette remains unchanged to preserve continuity, zirconia stones set on the top ring add light and a decorative accent.
This evolution reflects a broader trend visible across fashion and horology: a renewed interest in watches that are objects of style and expression. Jewelry watches — once emblematic of elegance and femininity — are re-emerging as meaningful accessories that combine unique details with modern wearability & create a bridge to the AIGNER Jewelry collection. The result is a refined evolution that reflects today’s renewed appreciation for vintage-inspired elegance.
The case flows seamlessly into the bangle-style bracelet design, creating a cohesive, jewelry- like silhouette inspired by the curved lines of AIGNER’s iconic horseshoe emblem. This subtle reference gives the watch its distinctive character while reinforcing continuity across the brand’s design universe. The mother-of-pearl dial adds softness and depth, while the minimalist two-hand dial keeps the design light and balanced, allowing the form, materials and finishes to take centre stage. AIGNER’s iconic emblem is discreetly integrated as a design sig- nature, linking the watch to the brand’s fashion jewelry universe and reinforcing continuity across categories.
Technical overview
Both FLORA SASSO and the FLORA family are Swiss Made, developed and assembled in Switzerland, and powered by a Ronda quartz movement. FLORA SASSO is presented as a key highlight at INHORGENTA 2026 and is available through selected AIGNER boutiques, retailers and international distribution partners.
