Harry Kane, English football player, and Alexia Putellas, Spanish football player, win the 2026 Ballon d’Or™, the most prestigious individual award in the world of football, presented in their respective Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunks during the ceremony.
For yet another year, Louis Vuitton has created the two Trophy Trunks for the winners of the Ballon d’Or™ ceremony, organised by Groupe L’Équipe and France Football (owned by Groupe Amaury), in partnership with UEFA. Bespoke and handcrafted by Louis Vuitton’s artisans in the historic workshop in Asnières-sur-Seine, the two Trophy Trunks are dressed in the House’s iconic Monogram canvas.
Each open via two front panels adorned with the ‘V’ for Victory and Vuitton, painted in gold, echoing the colour of the Ballon d’Or™. The exterior is enhanced with lozines, the signature Louis Vuitton motif, as well as brass corners, locks and clasps that have adorned Louis Vuitton trunks for over 160 years. Inside, both Trophy Trunks are lined with black microfibre, with the Ballon d’Or™ logo inserted beneath the lid.
Louis Vuitton continues its heritage by creating trunks to welcome and present the trophies of major international sporting competitions, a tradition that exemplifies the House’s excellence and savoir-faire, reaffirming once again that ‘Victory travels in Louis Vuitton’.
To mark the occasion, Louis Vuitton dressed House Ambassador, Sophie Turner, who presented the trophies for the 2026 Men’s and Women’s Striker of the Year. Sophie Turner wears a black tailored double-breasted suit with a pair of black leather pumps.
She also wear a necklace, rings, earcuff and earrings in yellow gold, pink gold and diamonds from Le Damier de Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry collection.
