G-SHOCK annuncia oggi il lancio di MRG-D5000, il nuovo segnatempo della collezione di punta del brand. Il modello, che presenta una struttura multi-componente priva di viti e una lunetta realizzata interamente in cristallo di zaffiro blu, sarà prodotto in un’edizione limitata di soli 20 esemplari in tutto il mondo.
Guidata dalla filosofia “Breaking Ground”, la collezione MR-G sfida costantemente le convenzioni dell’orologeria. Dal suo lancio nel 1996, fa ricorso a tecnologie di lavorazione di alta precisione e alla maestria artigianale per creare segnatempo capaci di combinare robustezza e bellezza.
L’MRG-D5000 è il primo orologio G-SHOCK a integrare componenti in cristallo di zaffiro blu all’interno di una struttura resistente agli urti. La costruzione si avvale dell’esclusiva Multi-Guard Structure di MR-G, che impiega cassa e lunetta composte da elementi separati assemblati senza viti, evitando così le sollecitazioni che potrebbero danneggiare lo zaffiro.
A seguito di un’approfondita analisi della trasmissione degli impatti sul materiale, G-SHOCK ha sviluppato un’architettura dedicata capace di unire un’elevata resistenza a una resa estetica curata nei minimi dettagli. Il cristallo di zaffiro blu risalta anche sul fondello serrato a vite, inciso con il numero di serie di ciascuno dei 20 pezzi disponibili. In termini di tecnologia, il modulo Gallium Tough Solar offre la massima durata e un’elevata efficienza di ricarica sotto la luce intensa.
G-SHOCK annuncia inoltre due ulteriori modelli progettati con cristallo di zaffiro blu. L’MRG-B5000SA, un segnatempo MR-G caratterizzato da cristalli di zaffiro blu da due carati, sfaccettati e applicati sulla parte superiore e inferiore della cassa. La lunetta è realizzata in una lega superdura, mentre l’IP blu ad arco (AIP) è applicato sia alla cassa sia alla lunetta. Il GMW-B5000SB, un G-SHOCK interamente in metallo, presenta invece cristalli di zaffiro blu incastonati in quattro punti sulla parte frontale della lunetta.
